Dr. Colton Alter, DMD
Dr. Colton Alter is a Montgomery, AL native who earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.
Dr. Alter brings a strong clinical foundation, a gentle touch, and a genuine passion for patient care to our practice. He is dedicated to creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for every patient. His approach is centered around trust, clear communication, and empowering patients to make informed decisions about their oral health.
He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Alter is also trained in clear aligner therapy, allowing him to offer discreet and effective orthodontic treatment options for patients seeking a straighter smile.
Outside the office, Dr. Alter enjoys reading, hiking, and spending quality time with his family. Whether he’s exploring new trails or enjoying a quiet moment with a good book, he values balance and connection—principles he carries into his dental practice.

Dr. Alyssa Lambert Giannone, DDS
Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Alyssa Lambert Giannone is a cosmetic and comprehensive dentist known for her meticulous eye, artistic approach, and warm, patient-centered care. She believes that truly exceptional dentistry combines clinical precision with aesthetic harmony—and that every patient deserves to feel both confident and cared for.
Dr. Giannone was the first dentist to complete over two years of apprenticeship with world-renowned cosmetic dentist Dr. Dennis Wells, where she studied the advanced techniques and artistry of smile design. This immersive training gave her hands-on expertise in creating natural-looking, balanced, and beautiful smiles through procedures such as prepless porcelain veneers, cosmetic bonding, and full smile makeovers.
A Memphis native, Dr. Giannone earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Memphis and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. During her time at UTHSC, she was awarded numerous scholarships and honors for her academic and clinical excellence.
Her passion for dental materials research led to national recognition, including second place in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s Dental Materials competition and an invitation to present her research internationally at the IADR Conference in Vancouver.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and continues to pursue advanced aesthetic training to stay at the forefront of innovation in modern dentistry.
